How it works
- Copy the link – from the app or your browser’s address bar.
- Paste it above. A row with title and thumbnail appears right away.
- Pick audio or video, format and quality for each row.
- Click the download arrow – or “Download all” for several links.
MP3s with proper tags instead of “Official Video” in the title
Typical converters keep the video title with extras like “(Official Video)” or “[HD]” and use the 16:9 thumbnail as cover. Multimedia Downloader cleans up the title, looks the song up on iTunes and Deezer and writes title, artist, album, album artist, year, genre and track number into the ID3 tags. The cover is the official square album artwork, and the file is simply named “Artist – Title.mp3”.
If a song isn’t in the music databases (podcasts or remixes, for example), the thumbnail is cropped square and used as cover. You can change everything afterwards in the “Tags” tab.
